Super tasty herby drizzle for veggies and meat dishes

Basil and mint drizzle

Fresh herbs can transform a dish and really distract you from the absence of carbs! This delicious dressing is carb-free, dairy-free and vegan friendly and great for drizzling over roasted veggies, steamed greens or meat to add a little extra flavour.


  • A large handful of basil
  • A medium handful of mint
  • Juice of 1/4 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • Black pepper to season


  1. De-stalk, rinse and dry the herb leaves then place them together on a chopping board and finely chop.
  2. Add to a bowl, along with the olive oil and the juice of half a lemon.
  3. Crush and finely chop the garlic clove, add to the bowl, combine with the herbs and oil and season with a little pepper.
  4. Drizzle over anything you fancy!
